Senior Finance Business Partner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Oversee the Annual Planning process for the financial and strategic plans of your business unit.

• Lead initiatives that furnish new insights for business leaders, instilling confidence in their decision-making.

• Advocate for decisions based on data analysis.

• Effectively collaborate with a variety of stakeholders and senior leadership to pinpoint necessary solutions that align with their business objectives, providing impactful advice, insights, challenges, and decision support.

• Handle special projects including strategic planning, preparation of business cases, and support for mergers and acquisitions.

• Ensure that operational decisions are in sync with strategic initiatives.

• Review, analyze, and maintain the integrity of operational data.

• Partner with teams to generate operational insights and propose enhancements.

• Work alongside cross-functional teams, assisting with ad hoc analysis and support as needed.

• Collect, consolidate, and evaluate key financial metrics, understanding the underlying causes of revenue and cost fluctuations.

• Prepare monthly reporting materials.

• Perform other assigned duties.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field equivalent in education and experience.

• Minimum of five years of relevant work experience.

• Familiarity with general financial reporting practices.

• Proficient in MS Excel and financial modeling.

• Experience using Salesforce CRM.

• Willingness to travel as required.
