Senior Finance Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Provide support for the Firm’s bookkeeping, accounting, investor relations, and audit teams, both external and internal.

• Assist in the creation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

• Aid in the development and assessment of budgets for various entities.

• Manage and/or oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable for multiple corporate entities.

• Conduct regular reconciliations of bank accounts to ensure precision.

• Support loan compliance efforts.

• Assist in the preparation and distribution of tax returns and other related tax documents for various entities.

• Communicate effectively with, influence, and supervise the activities of third-party management firms across the portfolio.

• Execute all job responsibilities with honesty and ethical standards while adhering to all applicable laws, regulations, and Firm policies.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4-7 years of direct experience in real estate accounting. *Bonus for direct experience with hotels and food & beverage.*

• Solid grasp of real estate financial statements and a strong financial acumen, with the capability to perform sophisticated financial analyses to identify issues, resolve problems, and aid in decision-making.

• Capacity to make prompt decisions even with incomplete information.

• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills are essential. The ability to effectively articulate ideas and recommendations and to advocate for positions is necessary.

• Remarkable attention to detail. *Bonus points if you noticed the misspelling.*

• A genuine interest in the field of real estate.

• High levels of personal and professional integrity.

• Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple projects and deadlines while adapting to changing priorities.

• Proficient user of Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks.

• A readiness to take on and personally assume responsibility for tasks.
