Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Assist in the annual budgeting and regular forecasting activities.

• Develop and sustain financial models and planning instruments.

• Collect and evaluate financial and operational information for planning tasks.

• Detect financial risks and prospects through trend evaluations.

• Create ongoing financial reports, dashboards, and business performance indicators.

• Perform variance analysis in comparison to budget and forecasts.

• Assess revenue, expenses, labor costs, and operational performance metrics.

• Aid in the month-end and year-end financial closing processes.

• Collaborate with finance and operational teams to deliver insights and reporting assistance.

• Review business cases, customer agreements, and operational projects.

• Offer ad hoc financial and operational analysis for management.

• Assist leadership with data and reporting needs for significant business decisions.

• Monitor and report on key performance indicators.

• Recognize trends, anomalies, and opportunities for enhancing operations.

• Oversee financial performance relative to set goals and objectives.

• Maintain reporting tools, templates, and financial databases.

• Facilitate the automation and optimization of financial reporting processes.

• Ensure data precision and consistency across financial systems and reports.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

• 1-4 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, Finance, Accounting, or a similar analytical position.

• Excellent analytical and quantitative abilities with a keen eye for detail.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the use of formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis techniques.

• Capacity to organize and analyze substantial amounts of financial data.

• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

• Capability to manage multiple tasks and adhere to set deadlines.

• Proven teamwork and collaboration skills.

• Experience in facilities services, property services, outsourcing, or other service-oriented sectors is preferred.

• Familiarity with ERP systems and financial reporting software is preferred.

• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, SAP, Oracle, Hyperion, or similar platforms is preferred.

• Internship or experience in supporting budgeting, forecasting, or financial reporting activities is preferred.

• Progress toward obtaining a CPA, CMA, MBA, or other relevant professional qualifications is preferred.
