• Collaborate on-site with clients to pinpoint areas for operational enhancement and address pain points.
• Carry out field service responsibilities, which include diagnosing technical problems and performing on-site troubleshooting within authorized regions.
• Implement installation, commissioning, maintenance, repairs, expansions, upgrades, retrofits, end-of-life services, and replacements.
• Assist in the certification process for Associate Field Service Technicians and Field Service Technicians.
• Mentor technicians and oversee intricate site operations.
• Serve as instructors when necessary for team members and clients.
• Compile material lists for service tasks and ensure that all materials, components, and equipment adhere to quality standards and are readily available.
• Anticipate potential equipment malfunctions and suggest corrective measures.
• Enhance customer satisfaction by fostering and sustaining positive relationships.
• Discover potential new sales avenues while fulfilling customer requirements and relay this information internally.
• Identify opportunities for product and quality enhancements.
• Provide management with recommendations for improving operations and customer service.
• Adhere to safety protocols and uphold safe working and environmental practices.
• Report any unsafe practices and incidents.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology with over 6 years of experience in servicing critical power equipment, OR an Associate's Degree in electrical technology with over 8 years of experience in servicing critical power equipment, OR a High School Diploma/GED with 10+ years of equivalent work or military experience in servicing critical power equipment.
• Proficient in interacting and communicating information (both written and verbal) effectively across various levels within the organization.
• Strong collaboration skills with others.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Moderate project management skills using MS Project or Excel.
• Advanced capability in drafting test plans and reports that detail test outcomes.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines on administrative tasks.
• Demonstrates a sense of urgency and ownership; committed to completing the job!
