Senior Field Service Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Act as the primary regional technical authority and customer-facing service representative, supporting customers across Mexico.

• Oversee onsite commissioning, advanced troubleshooting, maintenance, and ongoing support for industrial combustion and heating systems.

• Conduct advanced diagnostics and root cause analysis for intricate mechanical, electrical, and controls-related system issues.

• Review, modify, and assist with PID loop programming.

• Function as the main technical liaison for customers.

• Offer expert technical advice to enhance system performance, reliability, efficiency, and safety.

• Mentor and assist less-experienced service personnel, contractors, or local support staff.

• Work closely with U.S.-based teams on technical challenges and support initiatives.

• Prepare comprehensive service reports, timesheets, and technical documentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Chemical, or a related technical field).

• At least five (5) years of field service experience with industrial combustion or heating systems.

• Strong grasp of essential combustion principles, including air-to-fuel ratios, flammability limits, NOₓ formation mechanisms, and available heat.

• A minimum of two (2) years of direct experience with Bloom Engineering equipment.

• Proven experience in supporting industrial customers throughout Mexico.

• Familiarity with NFPA 86 and similar industrial combustion safety regulations.

• OSHA 10-Hour and NFPA 70E safety training (or willingness to obtain).

• A valid driver’s license is required (international driver’s license preferred).

• TN Visa or the ability to qualify for one.

• Willingness and capability to travel regularly (up to 80% of the time required) throughout Mexico.

• Proficient in writing reports in English to summarize findings and completed work.

• Fluency in Spanish with professional speaking proficiency in English.
