Field Service Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Install, commission, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair battery systems and associated equipment.

• Conduct both cold and hot commissioning while addressing battery performance challenges.

• Assist with battery testing, charging, balancing, and decommissioning processes.

• Deliver on-site technical support and exceptional customer service.

• Adhere to OSHA, EHS, safety, and quality standards.

• Prepare field reports, expense documentation, and project records.

• Manage the upkeep of field tools and equipment.

• Operate independently while also collaborating with customers and internal teams.

• Travel regionally to customer sites, approximately 75% of the time.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma/GED, technical or trade degree, or equivalent experience is required.

• At least 1 year of experience in field service, electrical power, renewable energy, industrial electrical, or a related field.

• Proficiency in electrical or technical troubleshooting is necessary.

• Familiarity with controls, firmware, software, or diagnostic tools is preferred.

• Excellent communication and customer service abilities are essential.

• Must be safety-conscious, reliable, and eager to learn.

• Capability to lift over 50 lbs and work outdoors in diverse environmental conditions.

• Must be willing and able to travel 75% of the time.
