This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Take charge of the event portfolio by assessing opportunities and formulating an event strategy that enhances pipeline, growth, and retention.
• Create and implement unforgettable booths and activations, overseeing comprehensive on-site logistics.
• Determine attendee participation, prepare participants, and ensure that on-site information is communicated to HubSpot for follow-up.
• Conduct pre-event outreach, schedule meetings, and manage post-event follow-up in HubSpot alongside Account Management.
• Provide reports on event expenditures, meetings, pipeline, growth, and revenue, including quarterly summaries.
• Implement high-touch ABM campaigns such as dinners, intimate gatherings, and one-to-few experiences targeting specific accounts.
• Oversee vendor and organizer relationships, negotiate sponsorships, and manage fabrication, print, and freight suppliers.
• Lead customer receptions, dinners, webinars, and other first-party initiatives.
• Anticipate the events and field marketing budget and make informed trade-off decisions.
• Strengthen existing customer relationships through high-touch account campaigns.
• 5–7 years of experience managing large-scale events with complete portfolio ownership.
• Remain calm and decisive on-site, with the capability to prepare others to represent the organization.
• Hands-on experience with HubSpot, including lists, workflows, campaigns, attribution, and reporting.
• Daily utilization of Claude or similar AI tools, demonstrating sound judgment regarding human review.
• Proven experience executing high-touch ABM and account programs, particularly for existing customers.
• Strong marketing analysis skills along with clean, on-brand copywriting abilities.
• Comfortable with budget management and forecasting.
• Curiosity about the workings of destination marketing.
• Eligibility for remote work based in Canada.
• Legally authorized to work in Canada.
• Nice to have: experience in marketing to DMOs, tourism boards, or the travel/hospitality sector.
