This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Deliver technical assistance to clients’ PCB designers and manufacturing teams.
• Collaborate with customer PCB designers early in the design process.
• Provide insights on routing, layout methods, signal integrity, PCB layer stack-up cost considerations, material choices, and electrical/mechanical specifications.
• Educate client designers and technologists on Design for Manufacture and Design for Value principles.
• Shorten customer design cycles by addressing issues between TTM pre-production engineering teams and clients.
• Enhance the quality and completeness of customer design submissions.
• Identify design challenges related to manufacturability and reliability assessments.
• Communicate TTM capabilities and outline technology roadmaps through customer presentations.
• Support QTA, NPI, and high-volume manufacturing operations across North America and the Asia Pacific region.
• Offer TTM manufacturing facilities insights into anticipated customer needs and technology requirements.
• Recognize and convey roadmap and capability deficiencies.
• Assist in addressing customer technical requirements alongside engineering and operations teams.
• Evaluate customer designs for manufacturability, controlled impedance, and specification enhancements.
• Establish technical connections between clients and TTM.
• Aid pre-production teams with DFM/TQ concerns at customer locations.
• Support Sales Account Managers in boosting customer revenue through technical assistance.
• Travel as necessary for customer site visits and manufacturing site support.
• Create and deliver technical capability presentations in collaboration with the sales team.
• Maintain effective communication between Sales, Development, Pre-Production Engineering, and Operations.
• Robust background in printed circuit engineering.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the entire PCB manufacturing process, including process flows, processing steps, and tooling.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Capability to collaborate effectively with customer design teams.
• Ability to make decisions that impact PCB design quality for key clients.
• Capacity to support high-yield production at TTM facilities in North America and the Asia Pacific.
• Self-driven and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
• Competence to make routine decisions with general guidance from the department manager.
• Strong public speaking and presentation skills.
• Disciplined approach to remote work.
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred.
• More than 6 years of engineering experience related to PCB manufacturing is preferred.
• Basic experience with electrical design performance and signal integrity, including impedance and insertion loss.
• Intermediate skills in interpreting drawings and blueprints.
• Familiarity with PCB CAM software and tooling PCB stack-up tools.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Project.
• Willingness to travel 15–25% for customer visits, TTM North American manufacturing sites, and TTM Asia Pacific locations.
• Must adhere to TTM Export Control Policies and Procedures, as well as applicable ITAR, EAR, and OFAC regulations.
• Ability to identify ITAR products and comprehend access restrictions for U.S. citizens and U.S. permanent residents.
