Senior Field Applications Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Serve as the main technical authority within the designated region.

• Lead consultative technical discussions with OEMs, builders, and strategic partners.

• Gather and refine requirements to create technically robust and commercially feasible solutions.

• Design, configure, and implement intricate or non-standard solutions.

• Oversee multi-vehicle fleet commissioning programs until final approval.

• Conduct technical training sessions and workshops for customers and partners.

• Assist in the creation of technical documentation and best practice guidelines.

• Offer informal coaching and mentorship to Field Applications Engineers (IC1/IC2).

• Contribute to the delivery of professional services and support revenue-generating initiatives.

• Provide support to multiple regions in nascent markets as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5–8 years of experience in field applications engineering, systems integration, vehicle electronics, or a related field.

• Demonstrated experience collaborating directly with OEMs, builders, or strategic technical partners.

• Proven track record of executing complex or fleet-scale technical implementations.

• Experience in designing and configuring non-standard technical solutions.

• Excellent consultative communication skills with senior technical stakeholders.

• Ability to lead the requirements definition process instead of merely following instructions.

• Advanced capabilities in technical design and configuration.

• Experience in delivering training or technical workshops.

• Strong commitment to delivery quality and outcomes.

• Degree (Level 7/8 NFQ or equivalent) in Engineering, Electronics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

• Valid driving license and willingness to travel internationally.

• Knowledge of CAN/J1939 or relevant certifications is preferred.
