Field Service Technician II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Execute customer installations, maintenance, and service calls swiftly and efficiently.

• Repair and service electromechanical devices, including ATMs and self-checkout systems, within a designated territory.

• Carry out scheduled maintenance, corrective repairs, and comprehensive system overhauls.

• Identify and resolve hardware, software, networking, and system configuration challenges.

• Oversee network faults, system access, security parameters, and remote connectivity.

• Organize and prioritize customer concerns, proactively addressing issues whenever feasible.

• Interact with customers in a professional manner, focusing on effective resolution.

• Engage in both virtual and practical training programs.

• Adhere to company policies, health and safety regulations, timekeeping, fleet, and safe-driving standards.

• Provide support to adjacent service territories during standard shifts when operationally necessary.

• Optionally engage in overnight travel assignments to enhance service coverage.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a local candidate within the specified geographic area.

• Authorized to work in the United States.

• Minimum age of 19 years.

• Possess a valid driver’s license and a driving record that complies with NCR Atleos fleet requirements.

• Proficient in PC skills, basic electronic skills, and familiar with operating systems.

• Capable of performing essential job functions without reasonable accommodation.

• Willingness to travel with several hours of driving daily.

• Ability to work rotating shifts and weekends.

• Capable of lifting and carrying tools, parts, and equipment weighing up to 50 lbs. unassisted.

• Ability to bend, squat, walk, stand, sit, reach, and perform repetitive hand movements with various sized objects.

• Familiar with large servers, mainframe computers, and imaging software.

• A+ Certification, CompTIA, or Network+ (N+) Certification is preferred.

• One (1) or more years of relevant experience is preferred.
