Field Service Technician I – Entry Level

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as the primary point of contact for NCR Atleos at customer sites.

• Execute basic module-level (FRU) troubleshooting and escalate issues when necessary.

• Utilize on-the-job training to address task-related challenges in straightforward scenarios.

• Ensure consistent and clear communication via the service application.

• Adhere to safety and security protocols while servicing ATMs.

• Complete training and certifications specific to NCR Atleos.

• Diagnose ATM issues by analyzing error logs, service app data, and using a company-issued cell phone.

• Conduct minor maintenance and repairs on both indoor and outdoor ATMs.

• Report work updates, tasks performed, and call closure details accurately and promptly.

• Manage parts inventory and maintain related documentation.

• Document hours worked and mileage driven each day.

• Operate based on a call-by-call dispatch system or a daily schedule.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must reside within the designated geographic area.

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

• Authorized to work in the United States.

• Possess a valid driver’s license and a driving record that meets company standards.

• Reliable transportation is necessary for work-related travel.

• Must be familiar with and capable of operating an Android mobile phone.

• Ability to travel for several hours during the workday, including during adverse weather conditions.

• Capable of lifting and carrying tools, parts, and equipment weighing up to 50 lbs. without assistance.

• Ability to bend, squat, walk, stand, sit, reach, work with hands, and repetitively grasp and manipulate objects.

• Must provide proof of at least $100,000 in bodily injury liability insurance per person and $300,000 per accident.

• Must provide proof of a minimum of $100,000 in property damage liability insurance per accident.

• Flexibility to work a schedule that may include nights, weekends, overtime, and/or flexible shifts.

• Capability to work outdoors safely in all seasons.

• High level of personal integrity and ability to work with minimal supervision.

• Strong problem-solving skills, quick adaptability to new skills, and ability to perform well under pressure.

• An Associate degree is preferred.

• Previous experience with NCR or similar equipment is advantageous.

• Basic knowledge and skills in electrical and mechanical fields are preferred.
