This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Manage site operations for the installation and commissioning of Heat Recovery Steam Generators (HRSG) and related equipment.
• Assist the Erector with the installation of HRSG components, piping, and auxiliary systems.
• Interpret sketches and drawings, ensuring the installation adheres to design specifications and sequences.
• Review HRSG installation method statements for safety and efficiency.
• Report commercial and technical deviations using quality records and non-conformance reports, and ensure follow-through to resolution.
• Ensure subcontractors and partners provide inspection test plans, reports, and quality documentation necessary for system turnover certification.
• Support the resolution of technical issues with GE Vernova engineering through Engineering Request cases.
• Review welding procedure specifications and welder qualifications prior to the commencement of welding.
• Enforce safety protocols for heavy lifting and review the lifting plans from installation companies.
• Ensure HRSG piping installation and testing meet project specifications.
• Oversee HRSG hydrotests and the preservation following hydrotests.
• Validate cleaning methodologies, chemical cleaning processes, and safety valve settings.
• Ensure compliance of test-media waste disposal with local environmental standards.
• Identify and resolve cross-discipline site interferences during installation and testing.
• Provide progress reports to construction, site, and installation leaders.
• Prepare and conduct HRSG tests, performance tests, and reliability runs.
• Utilize Process and Instrumentation Diagrams for system checks.
• Support the setting, testing, and logical checks of instrumentation.
• Some experience in Project Management, Construction, and Commissioning is preferred.
• Knowledge level equivalent to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, or a high school diploma with relevant experience.
• A Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, or a high school diploma/GED with 0–3 years of experience in relevant Job Family Group(s)/Function(s).
