Field Service Technician I – Entry Level

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Serve as the primary representative of the NCR Atleos brand at customer sites.

• Address basic module-level issues and escalate more complex problems as necessary.

• Efficiently organize and manage time.

• Utilize on-the-job training and practical skills to tackle task-related challenges.

• Ensure consistent and clear communication via the service app to uphold customer satisfaction.

• Adhere to safety and security protocols while working on ATMs.

• Complete all required NCR Atleos training and certifications.

• Diagnose ATM issues using error logs, service-app data, and a company-provided mobile device.

• Conduct minor maintenance and repairs on ATMs both indoors and outdoors.

• Accurately and promptly report work updates, tasks completed, and call closure information.

• Manage parts inventory and maintain related records.

• Report daily hours worked and miles traveled.

• Operate on a call-by-call dispatch or daily scheduling basis.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must live within the designated geographic area.

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

• Must have authorization to work in the United States.

• Hold a valid driver’s license and maintain a driving record that complies with company standards.

• Must have access to reliable transportation for work purposes.

• Familiarity with operating an Android cell phone is essential.

• Willingness to travel for several hours during the workday, even in adverse weather conditions.

• Capability to lift and carry tools, parts, and equipment weighing up to 50 lbs. without assistance.

• Ability to bend, squat, walk, stand, sit, reach, and manipulate objects repetitively.

• Proof of minimum required automobile insurance coverage: bodily injury liability of $100,000 per person and $300,000 per accident; property damage liability of $100,000 per accident.

• Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including nights, weekends, overtime, and/or flexible shifts.

• Ability to safely work outdoors in all seasons with potential exposure to the elements.

• High level of personal integrity and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

• Strong problem-solving skills, quick learning ability, and capacity to perform well under pressure.

• Basic electrical and mechanical skills, knowledge, and aptitude.

• An Associate degree is preferred.

• Prior experience with NCR or similar equipment is preferred.
