This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Supervise site operations for the installation and commissioning of HRSG and related equipment.
• Support the Erector in the installation of HRSG components, piping, and auxiliary systems.
• Interpret construction sketches and drawings to ensure proper installation sequencing.
• Evaluate HRSG installation method statements for safety and effectiveness.
• Report commercial and technical deviations through quality records and NCRs, ensuring follow-up to resolution.
• Ensure subcontractors deliver inspection test plans, reports, and quality documentation for system turnover certification.
• Submit Engineering Request cases to GE Vernova engineering for installation clarification.
• Review welding procedure specifications and assess welder qualifications.
• Enforce safety protocols for heavy lifting and scrutinize installation-company lifting plans.
• Oversee HRSG piping installation, testing, hydrotests, preservation, cleaning, chemical cleaning, and safety valve adjustments.
• Ensure waste disposal adheres to local environmental regulations.
• Identify and address cross-disciplinary site interferences.
• Provide progress reports to construction, site, and installation leadership.
• Prepare and conduct HRSG tests, performance tests, and reliability assessments.
• Utilize P&IDs for system checks and assist with instrumentation and logic testing.
• Some experience in Project Management, Construction, and Commissioning.
• Knowledge equivalent to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, or a high school diploma with relevant experience.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, or a high school diploma/GED with 0–3 years of experience in the relevant Job Family Group(s)/Function(s).
