Senior Field Application Engineer – CMOS Image Sensor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Leverages technical expertise in Silvaco’s product portfolio and a fundamental understanding of customers’ technical workflows and goals to assist clients in their simulation initiatives and overcome technical challenges.

• Collaborates with sales teams to comprehend the technical merits and trade-offs of our solutions as viewed by the customer, aiding in the formulation of account strategies for sustained growth.

• Engages closely with key clients to gain insights into their technical trajectories and immediate challenges, recommending the optimal solutions that Silvaco can provide.

• Recognizes customers’ success metrics and jointly develops evaluation plans to showcase and validate Silvaco’s solutions.

• Contributes to sales strategies and proposals, ensuring accuracy and completeness while enhancing Silvaco’s technical distinctiveness.

• Creates technical documentation that aids in conveying the technology and unique aspects of Silvaco’s offerings.

• Delivers training and guidance to customers to facilitate smoother adoption and use of Silvaco tools, while also gaining deeper insights into the customers’ applications.

• Works alongside customers’ implementation teams to resolve issues, develop solutions, and recommend additional features, modules, or products based on customer needs.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master’s Degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics Engineering, Solid State Physics, or a related semiconductor academic discipline.

• Over 5 years of experience in the industry.

• Proven experience in semiconductor manufacturing, R&D, and/or integrated circuit design processes is essential.

• Demonstrated experience in CMOS Image Sensor manufacturing, R&D, and/or IP design processes is required.

• Evidence of design, modeling, and/or simulation tool usage as part of academic studies, applied research, and professional work experience.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills along with strong interpersonal abilities.

• An intellectually curious mindset with innovative problem-solving capabilities.

• Determination in managing complex problems and projects with minimal supervision.

• Capability to prioritize tasks effectively and deliver projects within stipulated timeframes and budgets.
