Senior Feed Sales Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Operate within the Mid-South region, focusing primarily on Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, and Tennessee.

• Responsible for providing sales and retail support to the dynamic and expanding Farm & Ranch Agricultural Retail channel.

• Engage in a customer-facing, dynamic, and consultative sales role that is essential for our channel's growth.

• Achieve success utilizing industry-leading sales tools and by fostering relationships with retailer personnel, including store associates, team leaders, managers, and district managers.

• Oversee a third-party broker retail team.

• Enhance the visibility and presence of the Purina Feed brand and its products within store environments.

• Collaborate with retailer District Managers to train both new and existing stores.

• Manage the communication process among Purina Marketing, Field Sales, and Retail Operations.

• Motivate and guide the broker retail team within a defined geographic area to meet key retail and store business objectives.

• Organize regional event support.

• Participate in headquarter sales meetings with Regional and National Farm & Ranch retailers as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree is mandatory.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in training at the store level, with an emphasis on sales (in consumer packaged goods or related retail).

• Strong time management skills.

• Self-motivated individual; capable of developing execution strategies for your territory aligned with the strategic plan.

• Exceptional versatility, organizational, communication, interpersonal, and persuasive skills.

• Solid financial and analytical skills; adept at sales data analysis.

• Ability to align Purina's business strategies with positive outcomes.

• Proficient in managing changing priorities and multiple tasks, demonstrating motivation and responsiveness with shoppers and retail associates.
