Senior FedRAMP Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Lead advisory and assessment initiatives.

• Perform gap analyses.

• Draft system security plans, policies, procedures, and other essential documentation.

• Evaluate and assess evidentiary artifacts to determine their compliance with required controls.

• Document results of control tests following FedRAMP-defined test case procedures.

• Assist in the preparation of the Security Assessment Plan, Security Assessment Report, and Risk Exposure Table.

• Conduct stakeholder interviews, security boundary discussions, and control walkthroughs with clients to confirm the implementation status of controls.

• Leverage extensive knowledge of FedRAMP, GovRAMP, and NIST.

• Deliver outstanding client service.

• Collaborate with clients, team members, and leadership within a dynamic IT risk advisory environment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required; a major in cybersecurity, information technology, or information systems is preferred.

• A minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience.

• At least three years of experience in information security auditing, showcasing a continuous development of skills and responsibilities.

• Familiarity with NIST 800-53 controls, FedRAMP requirements, and NIST risk management and security standards.

• Practical experience in information security relating to audit and compliance.

• Preferred certifications include CISA, CISM, CISSP, GCED, GSLC, CCSP, CompTIA Cloud+, or CASP+, or other comparable IT security credentials.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.

• Demonstrated dedication to delivering outstanding client service (both internal and external).

• Capability to collaborate effectively across different functions, departments, and teams while fostering trusted relationships and positively influencing others.

• Strong attention to detail and precision.

• Excellent analytical and creative problem-solving skills.

• Effective time management and organizational capabilities.

• Proven ability to prioritize tasks while managing multiple projects/processes, often under tight deadlines.

• Willingness to travel as necessary, approximately 25% of the time.
