This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +25 more states.
• Oversee large-scale, enterprise software implementations and intricate technology projects for federal government and public safety clients.
• Ensure comprehensive accountability for program governance, financial performance, P&L, cross-functional team leadership, federal compliance, and client satisfaction.
• Create, manage, and execute master project plans utilizing automated project management tools, processes, and procedures.
• Establish and assess performance against defined objectives.
• Employ best-practice project management methodologies while ensuring adherence to designated standards and processes.
• Guide multidisciplinary project teams to successful project completion.
• Conduct scheduling status reviews to monitor progress against established plans.
• Act as the primary contact for customers, subcontractors, internal teams, and channel partners.
• Provide consistent status updates and facilitate meetings for both internal and external clients.
• Manage project budgets and financial targets, including revenue, margin, and cash flow.
• Analyze project expenses and lead cost status discussions.
• Oversee and implement change management plans according to contracted agreements.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, escalate issues, and prepare action plans for resolution.
• Contribute to competitive proposals, effort estimations, and winning strategies.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to government stakeholders and a strategic partner to internal growth teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, Business Administration, Business, Communications, Management, or Technology is required OR a minimum of 5 years of experience in an Engineering, Business Operations, or Project Management role is required.
• At least 8 years of experience in software project or program management with a focus on delivering complex, large-scale software solutions.
• PMP certification is required.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain a Security Clearance as mandated by government clients.
• Capability to acquire and maintain a U.S. Federal Security Clearance.
• In-depth knowledge of, or a willingness to learn about, federal contracting practices (FAR, DFARS) and security authorization frameworks (FedRAMP, NIST SP 800 series).
• Proven success in contributing to proposal development, effort estimation, and winning strategies for significant federal procurements.
• Proficient in enterprise PM platforms such as Jira Align, Microsoft Project, Confluence, and Asana.
• Experience leading software contracts for federal government projects is strongly preferred; equivalent large-scale enterprise experience in Public Safety, Telecommunications, SaaS, or similar heavily regulated industries will also be considered.
• Advanced program management or Agile certifications, such as PgMP, SAFe SPC/Release Train Engineer, or CSM, are strongly preferred.
• Active security clearance is preferred.
