
Senior Federal Civilian Agency Account Executive

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Establish and cultivate relationships with both new and existing Federal partners, customers, and stakeholders.
• Identify, qualify, and pursue opportunities to grow MixMode within additional government branches and sectors.
• Manage customer relationships from initial contact through to contract award.
• Collaborate with team members (solutions, contracting, product, program management) to provide outstanding support to potential customers.
• Develop and monitor sales metrics within our customer relationship management system to improve company forecasting capabilities.
• Implement a consultative sales process that aligns the benefits of our software product with organizational needs.
• Act as both a contributor and mentor, with future management opportunities as the MixMode sales team expands.
• Assist the solutions and contracting team in creating proposal and presentation materials.
• Over 7 years of relevant experience, including senior sales leadership positions, managing high-performance sales and technical-sales teams, coaching solution sales, and account development strategies, or equivalent experience in large multi-tiered organizations.
• Familiarity with the Civilian Agency landscape and the Federal IT ecosystem.
• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering (such as Electrical or Mechanical), Business Management, Economics, or a related field.
• Understanding of Federal sales or enterprise technology sales is advantageous.
• Self-motivated individual capable of identifying business opportunities.
• A proactive attitude and willingness to take on various roles in a fast-paced tech startup environment.
• Strong intellectual curiosity; passionate about technology and consistently monitoring new research and development.
• Competitive nature; motivated by the prospect of closing deals and surpassing revenue targets.
• Excellent communicator and storyteller, skilled in crafting compelling messages tailored to customer personas.
• Willingness to travel approximately 25% of the time.
