This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Act as a senior representative for Hypertec within the U.S. federal market.
• Advocate for Hypertec’s NASA SEWP VI contract and technological capabilities to federal agencies.
• Cultivate trusted relationships with contracting officers, program managers, technical leaders, and agency decision-makers.
• Participate in federal conferences, industry days, customer meetings, partner events, and networking functions.
• Identify forthcoming programs, funding priorities, procurement needs, and competitive opportunities.
• Facilitate new customer introductions and manage follow-up with sales, technical, and executive teams.
• Develop and sustain a qualified pipeline of federal opportunities.
• Assist in opportunity qualification, capture planning, teaming, positioning, and winning strategies.
• Forge relationships with OEMs, distributors, systems integrators, consultants, and strategic partners.
• Promote Hypertec’s competencies in AI, HPC, servers, storage, networking, cybersecurity, data center infrastructure, and professional services.
• Keep precise records of customer activities, opportunities, pipeline, and forecast data in the company CRM.
• Deliver regular market intelligence and strategic recommendations to Hypertec leadership.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• At least ten years of experience in federal business development, sales, capture, government relations, or industry engagement.
• Proven experience in developing or managing relationships with federal agencies, contracting officers, program managers, technical leaders, or government technology stakeholders.
• Established track record of identifying, developing, or advancing federal IT opportunities, including pipeline creation, pursuit support, or revenue contributions.
• Familiarity with NASA SEWP, including QRT, CHOP, and federal procurement processes.
• Experience supporting opportunities via GWACs, IDIQs, GSA schedules, or other federal contract vehicles.
• Knowledge of federal buying cycles, agency priorities, appropriations, and acquisition strategies.
• Experience interacting with OEMs, distributors, systems integrators, or federal partners; pre-existing relationships with these entities are preferred.
• Capability to deliver presentations, lead discussions with customers or partners, conduct networking events, and forge professional relationships in federal or technology markets.
• Background in representing an organization in executive, customer, partner, conference, or government-agency contexts.
• Experience managing a pipeline, travel schedule, customer follow-ups, or long-term opportunities independently, achieving measurable outcomes.
• Willingness and ability to travel regularly across the United States.
