📋 Description

• Take ownership of operational execution across the event portfolio, including major conferences, developer roadshows, digital events, and community activations. This involves managing timelines, project plans, and execution milestones for multiple concurrent events while ensuring they remain on schedule, within budget, and aligned with internal objectives.

• Maintain a comprehensive master event calendar that coordinates timing, resources, and dependencies across various programs.

• Oversee event registration, attendee experience, lead capture, and badging for the entire portfolio.

• Develop scalable event operations by creating repeatable planning templates, run-of-show frameworks, and operational playbooks, continuously simplifying and enhancing execution over time.

• Manage the event technology stack, which includes registration, mobile applications, and lead retrieval, ensuring seamless data integration into marketing and sales systems.

• Handle vendor and logistics management, including agencies, venues, production vendors, and internal teams, which encompasses contract execution, budget tracking, shipping, production schedules, and onsite readiness.

• Take responsibility for end-to-end event budgets, managing purchase orders, invoicing, and post-event reconciliation.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Product Marketing, Developer Relations, Field Marketing, and Sales to translate program goals into clear operational plans.

• Operationalize developer-focused programs—such as roadshows, community activations, and flagship conference experiences—and develop frameworks that allow for expansion into additional markets over time.

• Monitor event KPIs and pipeline/ROI, conduct post-event debriefs, and ensure timely reconciliation and handoff to sales.

• Provide operational and logistics support to Field Marketing for regional events, roadshows, and third-party/sponsored events, including managing sponsorship deliverables, booth and presence logistics, and lead retrieval.


⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in event management, event operations, or experiential program management.

• Strong project management skills with a proven track record of coordinating complex programs among multiple stakeholders and concurrent events while maintaining attention to detail.

• Must be willing to travel approximately 35% of the time across North America, with the possibility of international travel.

• Hands-on experience managing vendors, agencies, and production partners, including oversight of contracts, budgets, and performance metrics.

• Capable of utilizing AI to scale repeatable processes without compromising quality.

• Familiar with event and marketing technology (registration platforms, lead retrieval, mobile applications) and understanding how event data integrates with Salesforce, Marketo, and lead management workflows.

• Experience in constructing operational frameworks or playbooks that facilitate scalability of event programs.

• Preferred experience in developer, technical, or enterprise events; a background in SaaS, developer platforms, cloud, or technology companies is advantageous.

• Comfortable operating in fast-paced environments where priorities may shift.
