This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Serve as a strategic advisor to the Chief Commercial Officer, Vice President of Content, and other senior leaders, aiding in long-term strategy, process enhancement, and cross-departmental collaboration.
• Manage venue selection, vendor negotiations, contract management, and event logistics, which include catering, audiovisual needs, transportation, and setup/teardown, either independently or alongside our third-party event management firm.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure the flawless execution of invitations, presentations, signage, and branded materials.
• Assist in overseeing on-site operations, encompassing setup, troubleshooting, and post-event debriefing.
• Take ownership of post-event analytics, including gathering survey feedback and reconciling budgets.
• Manage and oversee event budgets effectively.
• Develop and maintain vendor relationships, including a comprehensive database of preferred venues and suppliers.
• Anticipate requirements, proactively address challenges, and guarantee smooth execution.
• 6–8+ years of experience in marketing operations, large-scale event management, or project management, preferably in a multi-market or national context.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex, high-stakes projects with accuracy and agility.
• In-depth knowledge of event logistics, vendor relations, and marketing workflows.
• Competence in using event registration platforms (e.g., Cvent, EventSpark).
• Strong capability to handle multiple large initiatives simultaneously with agility and precision.
• Outstanding judgment, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities in fast-paced settings.
• Excellent communication, professionalism, and relationship-building skills.
