This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.
β’ Establish Solidgate's footprint in targeted Western European markets by managing our presence through events, ecosystem engagement, and brand visibility from the outset.
β’ Create and maintain a commercially impactful network of founders, CEOs, and product leaders β the key individuals who sign payment infrastructure agreements.
β’ Collaborate with the entire sales team to convert brand presence and community interactions into a qualified sales pipeline β every initiative must clearly answer: how does this bring us closer to a client?
β’ Activate current strategic partnerships and forge new ones that yield referrals and co-marketing opportunities across Western Europe.
β’ Design and host events that genuinely attract attendance β not just panels or webinars, but the sought-after gatherings and dinners that bring together the right 20 individuals.
β’ Navigate the conference landscape strategically β attending industry-leading events and ensuring visibility where key decisions are made.
β’ Cultivate media relationships and secure coverage that positions Solidgate as the preferred choice for builders in European payments β delivering consistent market signals rather than merely issuing press releases.
β’ You have successfully established or expanded a B2B or fintech brand within Western Europe, demonstrating your ability to create genuine value before making requests.
β’ You possess a real network in the relevant markets β not just a list of LinkedIn contacts, but authentic relationships with individuals who will take your calls.
β’ You maintain a commercial mindset at all times β every event, article, and initiative must have a clear rationale: how does this bring us closer to a client?
β’ You are comfortable working in an unstructured environment β you create structure as you progress, without needing direction on what to do next.
β’ You understand the distinction between brand-building and brand-performing, as well as between noise and signal β and you focus on creating measurable outcomes.
β’ You have experience operating at the intersection of startups and venture capital β you comprehend the mindset of founders and the foundations of building ecosystem trust.
β’ You have held strategic partnership or founder-facing positions at high-growth technology companies.
β’ You possess existing connections within European technology ecosystems β such as Endeavor, VC networks, and fintech communities β that you can leverage from day one.
