Senior Equipment Mechanical Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Assess and evaluate damages to various mechanical and electronic systems.

• Perform configuration audits.

• Review requirements and specifications to identify suitable equipment replacements.

• Conduct research to estimate costs related to equipment replacement.

• Expected to generate written reports of 3+ pages on a regular basis.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) with over 5 years of experience in engineering design, analysis, or applications.

• Must be a resident of Chicago, Illinois.

• Willingness and ability to travel 30–50% of the time, occasionally at short notice but not for prolonged periods.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills along with strong interpersonal abilities.

• Proficient in computer software including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
