This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design, develop, configure, optimize, and provide support for Epic Professional Billing (PB) applications within various healthcare client settings.
• Initially assist an established Community Connect team in a backfill role, ensuring the seamless continuation of daily operations.
• Transition into forthcoming Epic implementation, optimization, upgrade, and enhancement initiatives.
• Deliver ongoing maintenance, production support, issue resolution, and enhancements for Epic Professional Billing.
• Configure, manage, and enhance Claims & Remittance, Charge Router, charge capture workflows, claim edits, workqueues, reimbursement processes, and revenue cycle capabilities.
• Collaborate with stakeholders from revenue cycle, operations, clinical, and technical areas to enhance Professional Billing workflows and system efficiency.
• Engage in requirements gathering, workflow analysis, application design, construction, testing, validation, go-live support, stabilization, and optimization efforts.
• Resolve complex issues throughout the entire Professional Billing lifecycle, encompassing Charge Router, charge capture, Claims & Remittance, claim edits, reimbursement, payment posting, and workqueue management.
• Create technical documentation, testing scripts, and support materials in accordance with Epic best practices and organizational standards.
• Effectively manage multiple priorities while working independently across various client engagements.
• Epic Professional Billing (PB) Certification is mandatory.
• A minimum of five years in Epic Professional Billing build, implementation, optimization, and application support experience is preferred.
• Significant experience with: Epic Professional Billing application build and optimization, Claims & Remittance, Charge Router, charge capture, claim edits and workqueues, end-to-end Professional Billing and revenue cycle workflows, system testing, upgrades, implementations, and go-live support.
• Experience in supporting Epic Community Connect environments is highly desirable.
• Background in supporting healthcare organizations in California, including Medi-Cal and Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs), is greatly valued.
• Salary commensurate with experience and qualifications, ranging from $110,000 to $150,000+
