This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Accountable for analyzing, configuring, developing, testing, implementing, supporting, and maintaining Epic clinical applications, solutions, and business processes to fulfill operational and technical requirements.
• Acquires and maintains comprehensive knowledge of software capabilities and applies understanding of operational workflows that need to be implemented.
• Responsibilities may encompass: Laboratory (Beaker), Clin Doc, Radiology (Radiant), Oncology (Beacon), Emergency Department (ASAP), OR/Anesthesia (Optime), Cardiology (Cupid).
• Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in nursing, information technology, allied health professions, business, or a related discipline.
• An equivalent of 8 years of progressively responsible work experience with a focus on clinical information applications and systems in healthcare, or a combination of education and experience, may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
• Minimum: Current Epic certification for the assigned application(s).
• Preferred: License or certification in a relevant clinical field or information systems.
• Minimum: Familiarity with IT solutions and interfaces, operating platforms, and network software.
• Proficient in utilizing Microsoft Office tools.
• Proven understanding of clinical workflows and terminology pertinent to the respective clinical department.
• Minimum: 5 years of analyst experience in similar clinical system implementation or EHR system support.
• Preferred: 5 years of analyst experience in similar clinical system implementation or EHR system support AND 5 years of project management or clinical experience in the fields of Radiology, Laboratory, OR/Anesthesia, Oncology, Emergency Department, Cardiology, or another relevant healthcare area.
• Eligible employees may also receive additional forms of compensation, such as shift differentials, on-call pay, incentive pay, and bonus opportunities, where applicable.
