Senior Epic Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Analyze, design, implement, and maintain intricate EMR systems that facilitate clinical care and patient management.

• Support system testing and document the outcomes of such testing.

• Propel process enhancements while showcasing advanced problem-solving and technical solution capabilities.

• Utilize development lifecycle processes, operational procedures, and documentation to implement and support system solutions.

• Spearhead strategy and innovation in clinical systems training and environment building.

• Develop and mentor colleagues on educational technology content.

• Oversee the design, development, and execution of new and improved EMR requests.

• Formulate and manage project plans and documentation for complex initiatives.

• Independently handle multiple moderate to complex projects.

• Define project scope, prioritize tasks, and coordinate resources effectively.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, end-users, third-party developers, and both internal and external stakeholders.

• Provide end-user support and monitor Service Level Agreements regarding incident management.

• Plan and facilitate clinical system training and curate educational and training materials.

• Maintain customer relationships while advocating for change-management practices.

• Prepare both oral and written presentations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• A minimum of 5 years of work experience in a related job discipline.

• In-depth understanding of Epic workflows and integration across various clinical and operational domains.

• Capability to support complex EMR environments.

• Ability to independently lead moderately complex projects and initiatives.

• Epic certifications are preferred, including Epic Inpatient Clinical Documentation, Epic Ambulatory, Epic Inpatient Procedure Orders, Epic Cadence, Grand Central, or other Epic certifications relevant to clinical care delivery.
