Population Health IT Specialty Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +25 more states.

📋 Description

• Deliver everyday support, optimization, testing, and maintenance for Epic Population Health applications.

• Assist with Inpatient Case Management, Healthy Planet, and EpicCare Link initiatives.

• Collaborate with clinical, operational, and technical teams to assess and enhance workflows.

• Facilitate system improvements and review software updates.

• Address and resolve application-related concerns.

• Aid in application integration, system upgrades, testing, and continuous operational tasks.

• Contribute to the growth and strategic initiatives of Sentara's Population Health.

• Promote enhancements in patient outcomes, quality of care, and clinician productivity.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Health Information Management, Healthcare Administration, Information Technology, or a related field (Required, Preferred).

• A substitution of 5 years of relevant experience may be considered in place of a degree.

• Epic HP (Healthy Planet), IP Clin Doc (Inpatient Clinical Documentation), or Epic Case Management Certification is preferred.

• 3 years of pertinent experience in healthcare, clinical informatics, application support, or IT analysis with a degree.

• 5 years of relevant experience may substitute for a degree.

• Required experience in clinical case management, care coordination, or population health programs.

• Understanding of inpatient nursing workflows and healthcare operations is essential.

• Familiarity with Epic Healthy Planet, population health management tools, or healthcare technology applications is preferred.

• Preferred experience in supporting software testing, workflow analysis, system upgrades, or application optimization activities.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills are essential.

• Ability to collaborate effectively in a remote team environment.
