Epic Analyst – Prelude, Grand Central, Referral, Cadence

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Assist in the development, support, and implementation of features for an Electronic Health Record system.

• Enhance organizational workflows by creating customized application builds.

• Acquire knowledge of EHR capabilities and their functional use while applying insights into healthcare business workflows.

• Provide ongoing technical assistance to end users, troubleshoot problems, respond to inquiries, and resolve system errors.

• Conduct regular maintenance, including software updates, patches, and system upgrades.

• Engage in the testing and validation of system modifications, enhancements, and upgrades.

• Aid in configuring and customizing the EHR system for healthcare providers and organizations.

• Collaborate with IT staff, healthcare professionals, administrators, and vendors on EHR projects and initiatives.

• Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, user procedures, and support issues.

• Foster relationships with nurses, physicians, revenue cycle teams, health information management, core team members, and facility leadership.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's Degree is required.

• Epic certification must be obtained within three months of completing the class or within six months of hire for Level I.

• Epic certification in the designated area is necessary for Level II.

• Certification in one or more Epic applications is required for Level III.

• Level I: Requires 0–3 years of relevant IT or healthcare experience.

• Level II: Requires 3–5 years of relevant IT or healthcare experience.

• Level III: Requires 5 or more years of relevant IT or healthcare experience.

• Strong analytical, organizational, and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within teams.

• Proficient problem-solving skills and a strong understanding of customer needs.

• Knowledge of healthcare business processes and technology.

• Familiarity with healthcare workflows and terminology.

• Proficient use of desktop applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Must reside and work full-time in Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, or Texas, or plan to relocate to one of these states prior to the start of employment.
