📋 Description

• Deliver operational excellence for the integrated EPD launch plan, focusing on large, intricate, and highly technical projects that involve multiple teams and products.

• Oversee discussions that unite Engineering, Product, and Design leaders to achieve alignment on milestones, dependencies, critical paths, and deliverables, stepping in to resolve issues as necessary without managing daily tasks or sprint execution.

• Maintain a confident overview of status, risks, dependencies, and decisions across all workstreams, facilitating resolutions when plans deviate or assumptions falter.

• Encourage teams to strategize and execute according to the roadmap, ensuring accountability, identifying delays early, and advocating for progress to meet commitments.

• Navigate cross-functional leadership through complex planning and resource allocation trade-offs, escalating organization-wide issues as required.

• Establish and refine rituals and cadences for metrics monitoring and team-level planning in collaboration with Product Managers, creating streamlined processes (roadmap reviews, metrics rituals, readiness checkpoints) that foster accountability without devolving into task management.

• Develop tools and processes to assist EPD teams in achieving key business objectives, promoting the adoption of new standards within your programs.

• Aid teams in defining, measuring, and reporting on quantitative goals, OKRs, and metrics, utilizing both qualitative and quantitative insights to set targets, monitor progress, and inform pivots.

• Link execution signals to OKRs, member impact, and business outcomes, ensuring leadership can see what is on track and whether it is affecting the desired metrics.

• Act as the primary liaison among Engineering, Product, Design, Clinical, Care Delivery, Commercial, Compliance, Legal, Infosec, and Privacy, bringing stakeholders together for cohesive decision-making.

• Serve as the EPD point of contact for addressing Commercial inquiries regarding the products within your scope.

• Facilitate comprehensive planning, dependency and risk assessments, readiness evaluations, go/no-go discussions, and retrospectives, while organizing program offsites that support your initiative.

• Highlight trade-offs, escalation routes, and recommendations for leadership, acting as the main EPD storyteller for delivery health with concise, decision-ready updates.

• Enhance the effectiveness of launches over time by refining operational rhythms, readiness standards, templates, and lessons learned from retrospectives.

⛳️ Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in product/technical program management, product management, general management, consulting, or product/business operations.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with an executive presence, capable of adjusting technical depth and perspective across audiences, translating business impacts and technical limitations into clear, actionable insights for individual contributors, senior leaders, and executives alike.

• Ability to maintain a broad perspective while guiding others towards it, functioning above team dynamics yet able to delve into details when necessary.

• Proven track record of managing cross-team execution rigor on technically complex, multi-team projects.

• Experience in guiding teams to establish goals, formulate hypotheses, determine metrics, execute, review, and pivot based on initial signals to achieve results.

• Demonstrated ability to define and report on quantitative goals/OKRs/metrics, employing both qualitative and quantitative data for market analysis.

• Strong comprehension of the operations within Engineering, Product, and Design organizations, including roadmap planning, dependencies, and release sequencing.

• Sufficient technical understanding to recognize interdependencies (systems, dependencies, architectural trade-offs) and collaborate effectively with engineers and technical leaders, without needing to be a technical expert.

• Excellent organizational and analytical capabilities, with a keen focus on detail and process efficiency.

• Strong interpersonal skills, capable of interpreting team dynamics and exhibiting high emotional intelligence across functions.
