Senior Environmental Permitting Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Assist with a variety of dynamic and engaging projects across several client sectors, including Energy, State Infrastructure Projects, Federal Sector Projects, and Industrial Projects.

• Possess environmental permitting experience in Massachusetts and other New England States, with specific expertise in the Massachusetts Wetlands Protection Act Regulations, S. 404/401 of the CWA, MEPA, Ch.91, and associated land-use regulations.

• Participate in and lead public presentations.

• Collaborate effectively within a team environment.

⛳️ Requirements

• BA / BS in Environmental Science, Biology, or a related field.

• At least 8 years of experience or an equivalent combination of experience and/or education.

• Environmental permitting experience is essential.

• US citizenship is required due to the nature of the work.

• A valid Driver’s License is necessary, and candidates must successfully pass AECOM’s Motor Vehicle Records review as a condition of employment.

• An MS degree and over 12 years of permitting experience are preferred.

• A background in Wetland Science, Policy, and Land Use Regulations is desired.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with computer proficiency, are required.
