This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Carolina.
• Oversee the creation of environmental assessment documents (e.g., Environmental Report, Environmental Impact Statement) in support of nuclear initiatives.
• Develop, oversee, and manage all personnel and projects undertaken by those directly reporting to this role.
• Manage and execute projects in accordance with scope, schedule, and budget while utilizing AECOM’s project management systems and software.
• The selected candidate will complete AECOM’s internal Project Management certification program within the first two years of employment.
• Coordinate, manage, and lead project fieldwork and data collection activities.
• Formulate, manage, and deliver business strategies, high-quality proposals, interdisciplinary teams, and documentation and report outputs.
• Act as a liaison with clients and regulatory personnel on complex projects as well as during business development efforts.
• Actively promote a culture of high-quality output and emphasize the importance of Health & Safety within the team.
• Provide technical assistance to the EPP Department and individual Project Managers while supporting interdisciplinary business development activities.
• Collaborate with various AECOM offices, practices, and business lines.
• Mentor junior and mid-level staff.
• Conduct client visits and fieldwork that necessitate working outside the office and overnight travel.
• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Biology, Ecology, Natural Resources, or a related earth science field.
• 10 years of experience or a demonstrated equivalent in preparing environmental assessment reports for actions governed by the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA).
• 2 years of leadership experience required.
• 5 years of experience in the nuclear utility sector, nuclear fuel cycle facilities, or as a nuclear industry contractor supporting licensing actions.
• A valid driver’s license and the ability to pass AECOM’s Motor Vehicle Records review as a condition of employment.
