Senior Enterprise Security Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Japan.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of, design, and execute proof-of-concepts, beta initiatives, and pre-sales engagements with customers and partner teams.

• Perform enterprise architecture exploration and hands-on software configuration.

• Collaborate with and support customers in their transition to agile, secure, and identity-centric security frameworks.

• Adopt a consultative approach to tackle next-generation security transformation challenges.

• Educate and empower internal teams and partners regarding Enterprise solution portfolios.

• Influence product roadmaps to ensure that customer business priorities and requirements are addressed.

• Assist customers in the adoption of Akamai products and services.

• Showcase solution value and facilitate the closing of sales.

⛳️ Requirements

• Capability to present complex technical concepts to diverse audiences, including CISOs and SOC/security architects.

• Proficiency in the Japanese language.

• Intermediate proficiency in English.

• Knowledge of network security, SIEM, SOAR, EDR/XDR, endpoint protection, firewalls, and overall cybersecurity principles.

• Expertise in Zero Trust concepts and technologies, including SASE/SSE, ZTNA, and Microsegmentation.

• Comprehension of interaction security and AI governance, including GenAI DLP, shadow AI discovery, and AI access control.

• Awareness of the distinctions between AI controls and network-layer controls, endpoint DLP, and traditional enterprise browsers.

• Familiarity with browser extensions, including permissions models, manifest/content-script architecture, and page-content interaction.

• Solid understanding of major public cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP, and OCI.

• Knowledge of cloud-native technologies, including microservices and Kubernetes.
