• Develop, implement, and execute a detailed business strategy for key accounts in the hotel, cruise ship, and hospitality sectors to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue goals.
• Collaborate individually and with the North American Sales Team to identify crucial partners, integrators, and clients; provide the team with resources to efficiently engage contacts, thereby establishing Motorola Solutions’ differentiation, market leadership, and expertise to facilitate deal closures.
• Present a business revenue forecast on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
• Organize regular interactions with key stakeholders to nurture relationships and manage assigned opportunities concerning the latest offerings from Motorola Solutions (such as Lunch and Learns, webinars, on-site meetings/demonstrations) and participate in trade shows.
• Create standardized vertical market presentations and sales tools for the North American Sales Team to illustrate the value proposition of Motorola Solutions within specific sectors.
• Build strong relationships with internal Motorola sales divisions across different regions and partner management teams.
• Leverage Salesforce CRM to formulate and sustain a strategic account plan that identifies key personnel for each assigned account, while tracking ongoing sales opportunities that you are actively working to close.
• Cultivate and maintain substantial relationships pertinent to security and surveillance that could generate opportunities for Motorola Solutions, including connections with customers, trade associations, and affinity groups.
• Assist in identifying trade associations, partnership opportunities, new business strategies, and innovative market approaches to enhance the North American Sales Team's impact.
• Design and implement focused marketing strategies, which may include marketing campaigns, trade show events, sales tools, web resources, social media engagement, and customer interactions as approved.
• Recognize “product gaps” that need to be addressed by Product Management to increase visibility and standardization within your customer base.
• Prepare periodic reports for your superiors and Product Management regarding gaps and their financial implications for Motorola Solutions.
• Oversee business unit resources, including solution engineers, inside sales, demonstration equipment, marketing budgets, travel expenses, and any other resources allocated by the company.
• Gather data on competitive products and pricing, report findings back to the head office, and maintain a thorough understanding of competitive offerings.
• Prior experience in security roles with hotels, cruise ships, and related institutions or substantial experience in selling security technologies to these sectors is highly desirable.
• A minimum of 5 years in one of the following areas: Sales, Video, or Security.
• Familiarity with our go-to-market strategies and sales philosophy is preferred.
• A proven track record of achieving revenue results and fostering collaborative relationships.
• Capability to accurately predict and surpass revenue targets on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
• Strong technical understanding and the ability to discuss our products and solutions competently.
• Time management skills are essential; candidates must manage multiple priorities within a complex, fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to travel across North America as required.
