This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +1 more state.
• Foster essential relationships with key customer stakeholders and enhance customer satisfaction across designated accounts.
• Support the formulation and implementation of a comprehensive long-term strategy for the account that aligns with customer business goals.
• Coordinate internal teams, including product support, customer success, and sales engineering, to address customer business requirements.
• Contribute to account planning for assigned accounts, collaborating with other sales resources (Salesforce Core AEs, Prime AEs, Cloud AEs, etc.) to ensure strategic coherence.
• Navigate complex sales cycles and present the value proposition of the Tableau platform to C-level executives.
• Establish and execute territory/account sales plans for the designated area, consistently meeting and surpassing sales targets (quotas) through prospecting, qualifying, managing, and closing sales opportunities.
• Build and oversee the sales pipeline, identifying and evaluating sales opportunities while managing numerous transactions concurrently through the sales process.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in quota-carrying software or technology sales and account management, preferably with a focus on large enterprise accounts.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a team of diverse partners in a matrixed environment (Account Executives, Solution Engineers, Sales Leaders, Executives, etc.).
• A highly motivated individual with a strong execution focus, a sense of urgency, and a commitment to the Tableau mission.
• A blend of business curiosity and technical capability to genuinely tackle customer data challenges and build trust.
• An approach centered around solution selling: formulate a plan and solution, convey value, and navigate customer complexities to drive revenue.
• Education: A degree or equivalent relevant experience is required.
• Experience will be assessed based on core competencies for the role (e.g., leadership roles in extracurricular activities, military service, volunteer work, professional experience, etc.).
