Senior Engineering Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maine, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Develop, create, and evaluate Job Summaries and Task Group Instructions (TGIs)

• Provide assistance with various Deficiency Form issues

• Prepare estimates for Sales Costs

• Support engineering efforts for the 688 Class and 774 Class Submarines, as well as Deep Submergence projects

• Aid in engineering and planning activities related to submarine maintenance at Portsmouth Naval Shipyard

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or its equivalent

• Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience as an Engineering Technician

• Must be eligible to obtain a Confidential clearance

• Strong experience with SHAPEC or DSSP

• 15 years of experience with submarine and/or deep submergence systems

• Familiarity with US Navy Shipyard applications, including AIM

• Capability to read and interpret engineering drawings

• Proficient in using the MS Office suite of products

• Technical training equivalent to an associate's degree is preferred

• Willingness to travel locally up to 10%
