Senior Engineering Manager, Core Automation – Platform

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Investigate and implement advanced GenAI methodologies, including large language models (LLMs) and Agentic AI, to address intricate organizational issues.

• Collaborate with Operations and Compliance departments to enhance overall effectiveness.

• Establish and oversee engineering teams within the Compliance sector.

• Plan, design, develop, and test software systems, applications, cloud-based tools, and internet-related products.

• Create scalable systems utilizing contemporary cloud technologies and industry best practices.

• Work closely with engineers, designers, product managers, and senior leadership to formulate quarterly roadmaps.

• Mentor team members on design principles, coding standards, and the adoption of AI productivity tools.

• Assess the security, scalability, and architectural integrity of feature designs.

• Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing AI/ML team.

• Lead multiple engineering initiatives concurrently while ensuring service quality.

• Establish and uphold processes that enhance engineering quality, AI integration, and delivery.

• Direct architectural choices and collaborate on the successful implementation and operation of multi-tenanted distributed systems at scale.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in software engineering.

• At least 5 years of experience in engineering management.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience managing Managers.

• Strong understanding of high-quality code and software engineering processes.

• Focus on execution with the capability to navigate through uncertainty.

• Ability to balance long-term strategic thinking with short-term planning.

• Experience in creating, delivering, and operating multi-tenanted distributed systems at scale.

• Competence in writing and reviewing code and technical documentation when necessary.

• Willingness to participate in on-call rotations and lead incident management.

• Proficient in triaging and troubleshooting bugs.

• Enthusiasm for developing an open financial system.

• Preferred: experience in deploying LLM-based applications to production.

• Preferred: experience in measuring and enhancing LLM grounding while minimizing hallucinations.

• Preferred: experience in Customer Support Compliance or Financial Crimes sectors.
