Senior Engineering Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines, +2 more countries.

📋 Description

• Act as the functional leader for Cashalo while collaborating closely with the local GM on a daily basis.

• Oversee a well-established backend and mobile engineering team consisting of 11–12 members.

• Take ownership of complex business challenges involving multiple stakeholders and guide them to resolution.

• Manage and analyze concurrent, interrelated experiments.

• Integrate successful engineering and product methodologies from other Tilt markets into Cashalo.

• Balance established methodologies with the specific needs of the region.

• Provide advisory support to the Cashalo GM.

• Travel to the Philippines approximately once every quarter.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive, proven experience in building and leading high-performing engineering teams.

• A product-first mindset; comfortable working in environments where technology is already functional.

• Capability to tackle broad, multi-stakeholder issues, pinpoint root causes, align various groups, and drive solutions.

• Background in startup or resourceful environments.

• Familiarity with incorporating AI into daily workflows, including the development and utilization of agents.

• Proficiency in engaging in substantive technical discussions with Staff+ Engineers.

• Must be located in Australia, Singapore, or the Philippines.

• Openness to travel 4–6 times a year.

• Willingness to travel to the Philippines approximately once each quarter.
