Senior Engineering Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wisconsin.

📋 Description

• Lead and oversee a team of engineers.

• Take ownership of the design and implementation of Sift's SMART on FHIR applications.

• Promote AI-driven development within the team.

• Collaborate with data engineering on Python, dbt, and SQL pipelines.

• Work alongside cross-functional teams to collect requirements and prioritize engineering projects.

• Drive the adoption of best practices throughout the engineering team.

• Recognize and act on opportunities for process enhancement and automation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Demonstrated experience in a senior frontend or full-stack engineering position, with extensive hands-on knowledge of React, Next.js, and TypeScript.

• Practical experience in developing SMART on FHIR applications.

• Proficient in working with AI coding agents and AI-driven product development.

• Experience in managing and leading a team of engineers.

• Knowledge of HL7 v2 messaging and healthcare interoperability standards is preferred.
