Engineering Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Lead and motivate two cross-functional engineering teams to produce impactful work efficiently and with high quality.

• Establish and steer the technical vision in close collaboration with skilled Technical Leads.

• Recruit, nurture, and retain exceptional engineering talent – acting as a coach and enabler rather than just a manager.

• Define and enhance team processes to ensure high-quality results, efficient delivery, and ongoing improvement.

• Collaborate with Product Managers to create realistic roadmaps and maintain well-prioritized, aligned backlogs.

• Plan and oversee capacity, resources, and risks, balancing the demands of delivery with innovation.

• Proactively identify bottlenecks and delivery risks early on, taking action before they escalate into blockers.

• Serve as the liaison between engineering and business, ensuring stakeholders remain aligned and informed.

• Investigate how AI can enhance both product value and team efficiency.

⛳️ Requirements

• A hands-on technical background: we welcome strong experience in Backend, Frontend, or mobile development, as we are stack-agnostic.

• Experience in people management: fostering team member growth and overseeing performance.

• Strong project management skills: organizing tasks, engaging with stakeholders, assessing risks, and resolving issues proactively.

• Proficiency in English (C1+): crucial for daily interactions with our English-speaking teams and Product Managers.

• In-depth knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and the software development lifecycle.

• A proven record in requirements analysis and producing clear technical documentation.

• A collaborative attitude with the capability to unite a team around a common vision.
