Senior Engineering Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Oversee, mentor, and cultivate a team of four to six engineers

• Establish and lead multidisciplinary teams

• Convert open-ended research objectives into actionable technical strategies

• Collaborate closely with researchers and physicists

• Develop effective collaboration pathways between researchers and engineers

• Direct architecture, interface design, technical standards, and implementation choices

• Define clear ownership and decision-making processes across teams

• Impact engineering strategy beyond the immediate team

• Proven experience in managing and nurturing high-performing engineering teams

• A proactive approach with a focus on iterative delivery

• Strong technical judgment in areas of architecture, implementation, and operations

• Excellent communication, facilitation, and conflict-resolution abilities
