Senior Engineering Manager, Activation & Engagement

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Oversee the complete process of Shopper Activation & Engagement.

• Manage the planning and sequencing of a multi-quarter roadmap.

• Collaborate extensively with cross-functional stakeholders.

• Cultivate and maintain engineering talent within a team of 10–12 engineers.

• Establish the technical vision for the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years of professional experience in software engineering.

• At least 5 years of experience in managing software engineers.

• Proven experience in leading product engineering teams for mobile applications and backend services.

• Strong technical acumen in distributed systems.

• Demonstrated capability to define, sequence, and execute multi-quarter roadmaps.

• Established ability to lead cross-functional planning and negotiations.

• Experience managing areas of ownership with dependencies across teams.

• Strong track record in people leadership.

• Familiarity with modern AI developer tools.
