Senior Engineer – Trans Line

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Create designs for transmission structures and power lines intended for high voltage applications.

• Develop and evaluate technical specifications and drawings.

• Carry out engineering analyses and simulations for the design of transmission lines.

• Offer support to the project team during the phases of construction and installation.

• Work collaboratively with other engineers and project managers to achieve project objectives.

• Ensure adherence to relevant codes, standards, and regulations.

• Conduct fieldwork as necessary to assist with design, construction, and commissioning efforts.

• Engage with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to guarantee project success.

• Attend project meetings and provide technical assistance as needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical).

• At least 10 years of experience in high voltage transmission line design.

• Comprehensive understanding of structural design and analysis principles and tools.

• Proficiency in engineering software, including PLS-CADD, PLS-POLE, and AutoCAD.

• Knowledge of industry codes and standards such as NESC, IEC, and IEEE.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and capacity to work autonomously as well as in a team setting.

• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.

• Capability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
