This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Design and develop capabilities for a multi-tenant platform that securely isolates and serves numerous enterprise customers at scale.
• Implement and enhance role-based access control (RBAC) and access control systems throughout the platform.
• Take ownership of platform features from architecture and implementation to deployment, monitoring, and iterative production improvements.
• Focus on reliability, observability, and maintainability in all builds.
• Deliver on a consistent release schedule, ensuring predictability and visibility in the delivery process.
• Engage in design and code reviews, producing well-tested code.
• Collaborate with the Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) on testability and automated testing.
• Identify and mitigate sources of unpredictability in the release workflow.
• Build and deploy services on AWS utilizing Docker and Kubernetes.
• Enhance CI/CD pipelines for dependable and swift deployments.
• Design systems with observability, traceability, and monitoring for effective failure detection and debugging.
• Contribute across a full-stack web codebase, assisting in both backend and frontend development as necessary.
• Collaborate with product, AI engineering, and security teams to translate platform requirements into functional systems.
• Play a role in architectural decisions as the platform evolves and scales.
• 6–10 years of professional experience in software engineering.
• Strong background in backend development, ideally with Python; experience in full-stack development is an advantage.
• Demonstrated experience in building multi-tenant or SaaS platforms at scale.
• Practical experience with RBAC or similar access control systems.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployment on AWS using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong foundational knowledge of distributed systems, APIs, and backend architecture.
• Ownership mentality with the capability to drive features from concept to production.
• Strong instincts regarding code quality, testability, and engineering best practices.
• Experience with security products such as SIEM, SOAR, EDR, NDR, or comparable enterprise security platforms is advantageous.
• Familiarity with LLM-powered or agentic systems is a plus.
• Frontend experience with React is a plus.
• Experience in agent observability, tracing, or production monitoring is beneficial.
• A strong academic background in Computer Science or a related discipline is preferred; graduates from IITs or other top-tier engineering institutions are favored.
