This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Perform highly specialized services on gas, steam, and combined-cycle turbine/plant configurations both in the field and remotely.

• Ensure adherence to company policies, testing protocols, standards, and industry best practices.

• Promote safety, quality, accountability, and excellence in operations.

• Collaborate with leadership to define and implement strategic priorities.

• Develop and utilize global networks to support business and technical goals.

• Guide and mentor team members while fostering capability development and succession planning.

• Take part in candidate evaluations and hiring processes.

• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.

• Offer strategic insights and technical leadership in development initiatives.

• Lead field testing and diagnostics for thermal performance.

• Enhance and standardize performance methods, tools, and processes.

• Analyze intricate test data, validate findings, and troubleshoot technical challenges.

• Oversee multi-event and multi-technology testing programs, coordinating teams, schedules, and deliverables.

• Drive diagnostics, root cause analysis, and optimization of performance.

• Establish New Product Introduction (NPI) testing strategies in collaboration with systems and product engineering stakeholders.

• Review field test data, analysis reports, and customer deliverables.

• Manage testing instrumentation and Data Acquisition (DAQ) systems.

• Communicate engineering risks, findings, and recommendations to both technical and executive stakeholders.

• Develop field performance testing strategies based on contractual agreements, guarantees, and project scope.

• Safeguard commercial interests while minimizing technical and performance risks.

• Assist in commercial and technical ITO discussions.

• Foster productivity and excellence in execution across field testing.

• Contribute to initiatives for developing new services.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.

• At least 8 years of industry experience in thermal performance modeling, field testing, or thermal evaluation.

• Willingness to travel extensively for global assignments.

• Strong grasp of thermodynamics, combined cycles, and thermodynamic cycles related to gas turbines, steam turbines, and HRSGs.

• Advanced degree in Engineering is preferred.

• Over 10 years of relevant professional experience is preferred.

• More than 8 years of experience in thermal performance testing is preferred.

• Advanced knowledge of instrumentation and the installation and operation of data acquisition systems.

• In-depth understanding of control system instrumentation, calibration, and its performance impact.

• Comprehensive knowledge of turbine design and operating principles.

• Expertise in thermodynamic modeling and performance evaluation.

• Proficient computer skills, including advanced Microsoft Excel and programming abilities.

• Expertise in data reduction and reconciliation analysis.

• Experience in cross-functional work environments.

• Extensive experience in customer interactions and presentations to diverse audiences.

• Familiarity with Gas Power business models.

• Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively.

• Clear, concise, and professional communication skills.

• Capability to explain technical concepts to both technical and business audiences.

• Strong service orientation and solution-focused mindset.

• Excellent facilitation and influencing abilities.

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
