Senior Engineer, Growth

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the activation funnel by reconstructing the submission funnel from start to finish, implementing metrics at each stage, and establishing a genuine experimentation cycle, which encompasses A/B testing and re-engagement strategies for users who leave without submitting.

• Expand acquisition channels by identifying which methods effectively attract users on both ends (lifecycle, SEO, AEO, paid, mobile ads) and develop the infrastructure to amplify the successful ones. This includes agentic optimization to enhance Alt's visibility in ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and other assistants.

• Improve the data and attribution framework, which is crucial for all other initiatives. Establish clear attribution, unify our product analytics into a single source of truth, and upgrade our messaging and deep-linking systems to accurately assess what drives our success.

• Develop lifecycle infrastructure by transforming push notifications, in-app messages, email, and SMS into a cohesive, instrumented system, as opposed to handling them as isolated campaigns, ensuring compliance with SMS opt-in regulations.

• Maintain marketplace balance by monitoring the equilibrium among bidders, buyers, and sellers, and foster growth on the side that is lagging.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of engineering experience with a strong foundation in backend technologies (Python, Postgres, AWS or similar) and frontend technologies (React, React Native, JavaScript/TypeScript).

• Proven experience in managing growth systems or product features from concept through to production.

• Proficiency with growth tools and analytics, including A/B testing frameworks, product analytics (PostHog, Amplitude, or similar), attribution platforms (AppsFlyer or similar), and lifecycle management tools.

• An insightful understanding of funnels, instrumentation, and the ability to convert chaotic data into clear, reliable signals.

• Excellent collaboration and communication skills, demonstrated through well-crafted documentation, insightful inquiries, and constructive feedback.

• Bonus: Knowledge of the collectibles industry or alternative asset marketplaces is a plus.
