Senior Engineer – Electrical

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Designing low voltage (LV), high voltage (HV), and extra high voltage (EHV) electrical power systems.

• Leading a team of engineers and drafters in the engineering design of substations.

• Developing single-line diagrams for switching and protection systems.

• Creating equipment specifications and assisting in the procurement process.

• Performing necessary calculations and generating reports for AC and DC systems.

• Designing underground medium voltage (MV) and high voltage (HV) cabling systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in the design of transmission level substations (13.8kV – 500 kV).

• Possession of a Professional Engineering license in one or more US states.

• Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and/or Electrical Power Engineering.

• Familiarity with NEC, ANSI, NEMA, IEEE, and other relevant codes and standards.

• At least 8 years of practical experience with SEL, GE, and similar relays.
