Senior Engineer, Data

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Czechia.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and oversee intricate data pipelines and storage solutions.

• Enhance data workflows to ensure optimal performance, scalability, and reliability.

• Spearhead initiatives related to data integration, quality assurance, and governance.

• Guide junior data engineers while promoting engineering best practices.

• Collaborate closely with stakeholders to establish data strategies and solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical discipline.

• Over 5 years of experience in data engineering or software development.

• Proficiency in DBT and Snowflake.

• In-depth knowledge of cloud-based data platforms and infrastructure.

• Expertise in big data streaming technologies such as Kafka, AWS Kinesis, AWS Firehose, and AWS EventBridge.

• Experience in data modeling, real-time processing, and advanced analytics.

• Capability to sit for prolonged periods, typically 7–8 hours daily.

• Proficient in operating computers, utilizing phone systems, typing, and using multiple software applications concurrently.
