Senior Engineer – Cloud Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Work closely with Architects to design private and public cloud solutions that prioritize scalability, security, and cost-effectiveness.

• Take the lead in diagnosing and resolving intricate issues related to private and public cloud, focusing on networking, security, storage, and performance.

• Provide mentorship to Cloud Services Engineers and Administrators on best practices and technical troubleshooting.

• Partner with Project Services during the onboarding process for customers.

• Utilize established policy and process guidelines for standardized customer deployments.

• Execute or oversee maintenance activities for Cloud Services.

• Suggest modifications to the infrastructure policies and guidance of Cloud Services.

• Advise on enhancements to customer environment configurations and optimization strategies.

• Develop and implement automated processes for uniform customer deployments.

• Generate and maintain technical documentation and communications related to Cloud Services configurations and modifications.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.

• One or more relevant certifications from cloud platforms.

• VMWare Certified Professional in Data Center Virtualization.

• Azure Administrator Associate Certification.

• Nutanix Certified Professional.

• Current CCNA certification or a comparable enterprise network platform certification.

• Over 5 years of hands-on experience managing private cloud environments.

• Experience in designing, deploying, and maintaining private cloud infrastructure at scale.

• More than 5 years of practical experience with Cisco or similar enterprise network solutions.

• Over 5 years of experience with VMWare vSphere or equivalent platforms.

• More than 5 years of experience with SAN, NAS, or object storage technologies.

• Familiarity with public cloud platforms, including Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), or equivalent solutions.

• Experience in Storage Virtualization.

• Practical experience with PowerShell scripting.
