Senior Engineer – Cloud

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop, enhance, and manage essential systems that empower teams of analysts to effectively counter adversary actions.

• Design and implement new features along with product improvements.

• Collaborate directly with Falcon Complete stakeholders to create products and systems that address cybersecurity challenges.

• Design and implement dependable and efficient solutions that ensure scalability.

• Enhance service monitoring capabilities and proactively resolve issues.

• Write automation scripts to alleviate operational burdens.

• Participate in on-call rotations to maintain high-quality 24/7 operations.

• Collaborate with Falcon Complete security analysts and advisors worldwide.

• Share accountability for all projects developed by the team.

• Lead cross-functional initiatives from initial concept to final execution.

⛳️ Requirements

• Professional experience with at least one of the following programming languages: Golang, Python, JavaScript, C++, or Java, along with a willingness to work with Golang.

• Experience and comfort working within the constraints of existing software applications and architectures.

• Practical experience in building web services and data pipelines at scale.

• Practical experience creating services within a microservices architecture.

• Operational knowledge of relational, NoSQL, and graph databases.

• Operational knowledge of messaging systems such as Kafka or Kinesis.

• Fundamentals of Linux programming.

• Experience with distributed and scalable systems.

• Familiarity with cloud-native technologies.

• Knowledge of cloud observability tools.

• Experience with Docker and container orchestration platforms such as K8S.

• Proven track record of leading cross-functional projects from conception to completion.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to succeed in a highly asynchronous environment.

• Capability to translate high-level feature requests into concrete engineering requirements.

• Self-motivated and able to thrive in a remote work environment.

• Demonstrated experience using AI technologies to improve decision-making, streamline workflows and processes, enhance efficiency, and drive business outcomes.

• Familiarity with AWS, AZURE, GCP, or OCI.

• Experience with modern AI technologies.

• Experience developing products in the security domain.

• Experience in high-level design and architecture.
